No. Our inaugural event is intentionally social — a mixed-doubles waterfall bracket with sponsored prizes and loose structure, not a USA Pickleball-sanctioned event. That means real competition for the people who want it, plenty of open pickup play for everyone else, and no DUPR pressure.

Absolutely. The tournament is mixed doubles, but on the registration form you just tell us "Find me a partner" and we'll pair you with another solo player at a similar skill level. You're still in the bracket. If you'd rather skip the bracket entirely, pick "Skip the bracket" and play pickup (or no pickleball at all — just the trip is fine too).

No. The trip stands on its own. Plenty of our guests come for the group rate and never pick up a paddle — the resort is worth it by itself. Others come for pickup play on the non-bracket courts and skip the tournament. Play the bracket if you want competition, play pickup if you want pickleball without pressure, or just enjoy Sandals. You pick.

Instead of being eliminated, losing teams drop to a lower bracket and keep playing. Winners move up. Everyone plays a lot of matches across a range of opponents — it's social, competitive, and nobody sits around watching other people play.

$2,113.39 per person, double occupancy, all-inclusive at Sandals Royal Curaçao — and that price INCLUDES the $200 non-refundable deposit (which covers your tournament entry). So $200 holds your spot today, and the remaining $1,913.39 is due closer to the trip. Covers your Carisia Luxury Room, all meals and premium drinks, tips, airport transfers, and tournament entry. Deposit is non-refundable unless we have to cancel the event. Flights are separate.

Flights are not included. On registration, check "Research air for me" and we'll quote group airfare using travel-agent group advantage. Or book your own flights — we just need your arrival details so we coordinate transfers.

Yes, bring your paddle. The resort has loaners, but you'll play better with what you know. Our sponsors may also bring demos to try — more on that closer to the event.

Yes. Pick "Social play only" on the registration form. You get the same all-inclusive resort experience — food, drinks, pools, 11 restaurants, 13 bars, spa, beach — and can dip into pickup play whenever you want.

A surprise room upgrade for one booked attendee. Two ways to earn entries: (1) be one of the first ten people to put down the $200 deposit — automatic entry, no action required. (2) Once you're booked, every friend you invite to our Facebook group earns you another entry. Tell them to answer "Who referred you?" with your name when they request to join. Drawing happens April 12, 2027 — about 30 days before the trip, so the winner has time to plan around it. Booked attendees only.
